I am a country girl through and through. I have lived nearly all my life thirtyish miles from a gallon of milk and have loved every minute. I have been married to my husband for 24 years and have two sons. My oldest is a sophomore at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and my youngest is a freshman at our local junior college as well as a senior in high school. My husband and I own and operate a cattle ranch and I work as a dental assistant to provide health insurance for our family. As my youngest flys our coop more and more each day, which makes me both proud and sad, I am learning to live as an empty nesting’ mom.
